Located in the shadow of the Capitol in downtown Nashville, Bicentennial Capitol Mall gives visitors a taste of Tennessee’s history, natural wonders and serves as a lasting monument to Tennessee’s Bicentennial Celebration, which was June 1, 1996. To set up a tour with a park guide, please contact the park office. Self-guided tours of the park are also very popular. Informational maps are available at the park office or patrons may print the map from our website. The route is approximately 0.9 miles. Bicentennial Capital Mall State Park provides great spaces for events of all sizes with a spectacular view of the State Capitol and Capitol Hill. The amphitheater is built in the tradition of Greek architecture and can comfortably seat over 2,200 people. This venue has hosted everything from small, intimate weddings to the Nashville Symphony.
