Economic Development
Nashville has held steady as a top-5 contender in economic strength since 2018 and is one of the fastest growing economies in the country. Downtown Nashville is the literal and figurative center for all of that - and more.
Downtown’s 1.8 square mile boundaries hold 16,500 residents, 78,000 employees, and millions of visitors each year. With more than $6.6 billion in public private investments over the last five years and another $10 billion under construction or in-progress development projects, downtown Nashville is truly the epicenter of a city on the move.
