Economic Development
Nashville has ranked as a top-10 city to live in after the pandemic, has held steady as a top-5 contender in economic strength since 2018, and is one of the fastest growing economies in the country. Downtown Nashville is the literal and figurative center for all of that - and more.
Downtown’s 1.8 square mile boundaries hold 15,000 residents, 78,000 employees, and millions of visitors each year. With more than $7.5 billion in public private investments in 2012-2020 with another $6.5 billion under construction or in-progress development projects, downtown Nashville is truly the epicenter of a city on the move.
