Economic Development

Downtown Nashville is back at 100% of pre-pandemic levels based on our residential, employee and visitor population. Downtown Nashville ranks #1 in recovery based on Center City Philadelphia's report “Downtown’s Rebound: The Data-Driven Path to Recovery”.

Downtown’s 2.4 square mile boundaries hold 17,000 residents, 78,000 employees, and millions of visitors annually. With $8.6 billion in public-private investments over the last 10 years and another $16 billion under construction or in-progress development projects, downtown Nashville is truly the epicenter of a city on the move and is good for all of us.
