Nashville's urban core offers many great options to get from one place to another and to explore its varied destinations and neighborhoods. 

BY FOOT

With 70 miles of sidewalks and the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge connecting downtown to the east bank, walking is a safe and easy way to get around!

BY CAR

BY BIKE

Nashville BCycle operates electric bikes that can be ridden around downtown. Download the BCycle app to find e-bikes & stations, purchase passes, and checkout e-bikes right from your phone.

BY RIDESHARE/TAXI

Uber & Lyft operate throughout Nashville and can be booked by customers with the app. Several taxi companies operate in the area—always confirm you're boarding a licensed cab (see requirements HERE).

BY BUS

WeGo Central, WeGo's main transit hub, is conveniently located downtown. WeGo Public Transit operates many lines within, into and out of downtown, including Route 18 which will take you to/from the Nashville International Airport (BNA) on an express route. 

BY E-SCOOTER

Nashville is home to many e-scooter companies (including Bird, Lime, and more). Download the app to ride and be sure you know the rules for safe and legal riding. Please note: In Nashville, e-scooters are not allowed on sidewalks in the downtown core.
