Getting Around

Nashville's urban core offers lots of great options to get from one place to another and to explore its varied destinations and neighborhoods.

Exploring downtown by foot is safe, easy, and is one of the best ways to take in the sights, sounds, and flavors of the city. With 70 miles of sidewalks and the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge connecting downtown to the east bank and Nissan Stadium, walking is a great way to get around!

If you're driving downtown, be sure to visit our Where To Park page for an interactive map of public parking options. It's never been easier to find affordable, convenient parking downtown!

Nashville BCycle has relaunched with brand new electric bikes! Download the BCycle app to find e-bikes & stations, purchase passes, and checkout e-bikes right from your phone.

Uber and Lyft operate throughout Nashville and can be booked by customers with the app. Multiple taxi companies operate in the area. Taxis are easy to hail and many taxis are "on call" at most of the downtown hotels.

WeGo Central, WeGo's main transit hub, is conveniently located downtown. WeGo Public Transit operates many lines within, into and out of downtown, including Route 18 which will take you to/from the Nashville International Airport (BNA) on an express route. The fare is $2 one-way.

Nashville is home to Bird, Lime, and Spin scooters. Download the app to ride and be sure you know the rules for safe and legal riding.
