College football is kicking off in Nashville, and we’re celebrating the Music City way. Join us Saturday, September 5th for the Music City Kickoff Concert featuring Lee Brice, Gabby Barret, and Payton Smith. Then, enjoy a weekend full of fun hosted by the Nashville Sports Council: tailgates, sporting events, farmers markets, and more.

The Music City Kickoff Concert will mark the official start of an exciting weekend of college sporting events hosted by the Nashville Sports Council. The festivities continue Sunday, Sept. 6, on the other end of Broadway at Bridgestone Arena for the second annual Sprouts Farmers Market Broadway Block Party, a women’s college volleyball double-header featuring Louisville vs. Texas (aired on ABC) and Tennessee vs. Indiana (aired on ESPN2), starting at 11 a.m. CT. Later that evening, the action shifts across the Cumberland River to Nissan Stadium for the inaugural Liberty Mutual Music City Kickoff, a neutral-site college football season opener between the Louisville Cardinals and Ole Miss Rebels at 6:30 p.m. CT (aired on ABC).
