Young Gun Silver Fox is the duo of Andy Platts and Shawn Lee, whose rare musical chemistry creates a distinct sound blending ’70s pop-soul and West Coast vibes. Since their debut West End Coast in 2015, they’ve built a loyal global following—including fans like Hans Zimmer and Jeff Lynne—through richly arranged, sophisticated yet accessible music.
Both accomplished musicians individually, Shawn is a UK-based multi-instrumentalist and producer, while Andy leads the Brit-soul band Mamas Gun and has written with legends like Rod Temperton. Their collaborative process evolved from exchanging ideas remotely to intense in-person sessions for their 2025 album Pleasure, marking a new creative chapter.
