Women of all backgrounds have helped shape the state of Tennessee with their contributions and achievements. Join for a special highlights tour of women’s history in Tennessee. A Museum educator guides visitors through the galleries and highlights stories of women from the time of the First People to the modern day entertainers we know and love. Figures from Tennessee history include Cherokee leader Nancy Ward; First Lady Sarah Polk; Civil Rights activist Ida B. Wells, and country music legend Dolly Parton.
These tours are free and run about 45 minutes. No reservations are required.
