The Friends from Friends Life Community, a weekday program that offers opportunity for adults with developmental disabilities, will take to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center stage for their latest advocacy-centric performance, Threads of Power. During this show, which marks the 10th anniversary of Friends Life’s performing art program, pulls together the three pieces created by the Friends that communicate the common language of humanity – Big Power in Me, Stop and Notice, and Powerful as I Am. The performance also features community members from throughout Nashville as well as professional dancers from Shackled Feet Dance Company. This show will move anyone to tears, laughter, insight and unity.
