In this three-hour workshop, fashion designer and illustrator Carrie Mills will introduce participants to the process of fashion design and the art of creating a personal fashion line. The workshop will begin with Mills guiding the class through the works showcased in Lee Alexander McQueen & Ann Ray: Rendez-Vous for inspiration. Then, she will lead several hands-on fashion design exercises, teaching techniques and approaches that participants can use to craft their own unique collections. Each student will receive their own sketchbook to begin their creative process, along with handouts to guide and inspire them.
