Join us for String City: Nashville’s Tradition of Music and Puppetry with special guests from Old Crow Medicine Show benefitting Nashville Public Library.
Taking place at the beautiful downtown main library, the event kicks off with a delicious brunch (classic cocktails included!) and live music from country artist Brittany Kennell before moving into the library’s auditorium for the String City performance and a special set by members of Old Crow Medicine Show.
String City: Nashville’s Tradition of Music and Puppetry is a lively telling of the history of country music, with a Nashville emphasis. Starting with the early days of string-band and gospel music and continuing with the birth of the Grand Ole Opry, the audience meets the great icons of country music.
