After a hiatus from the recording studio, Miko Marks released her first album in thirteen years, Our Country, in early 2021 and quickly followed with her Race Records EP, a compilation of covers of early country, bluegrass, and folk-rock songs. In 2022, she was named to the year’s CMT Next Women of Country class and released another record, Feel Like Going Home. Marks has opened for Ron Pope and Tedeschi Trucks Band and will open for Little Feat and co-headline a tour with Rissi Palmer this year. She is featured in the “Unbroken Circle” portion of the Museum’s exhibition American Currents: State of the Music alongside one of her idols, Loretta Lynn. Ford Theater.
