Lydia Vaughan wrote Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood’s chart-topping single “If I Didn’t Love You,” Corey Kent’s “Man of the House,” John Morgan’s “Friends Like That,” and Faren Rachels’s “The Rug.” Her songs have also been recorded by Lauren Alaina, Drew Baldridge, Gabby Barrett, Danielle Bradbery, Larry Fleet, Meghan Patrick, MacKenzie Porter, and Lily Rose.
