Kostas Lazarides, known professionally as Kostas, has written many of the hit songs recorded by Patty Loveless, including “Blame It on Your Heart,” “Can’t Stop Myself from Loving You,” “High on Love,” “On Down the Line,” “The Lonely Side of Love,” and “Timber, I’m Falling in Love.” His songs have also been recorded by the Chicks, Holly Dunn, Sammy Kershaw, the Mavericks, Martina McBride, McBride & the Ride, Jo Dee Messina, Marty Stuart, Travis Tritt, and Dwight Yoakam. Kostas was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2019. Offered in support of the exhibition Patty Loveless: No Trouble with the Truth. Ford Theater. Included with Museum admission.
