Kim Richey wrote “Believe Me Baby (I Lied)” (Trisha Yearwood), “Every River” (Brooks & Dunn), “Nobody Wins” (Radney Foster), and songs recorded by Suzy Bogguss, the Chicks, Terri Clark, Jim Lauderdale, Patty Loveless, Mindy McCready, Lorrie Morgan, and Cyndi Thompson. She also wrote her single “Floating on the Surface,” included on her latest record, Every New Beginning, set for release on May 24. Ford Theater.
