As one-half of the country duo the O’Kanes, Kieran Kane co-wrote and charted several singles on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, including the #1 “Can’t Stop My Heart from Loving You,” with his bandmate Jamie O’Hara. Kane also wrote and recorded a string of charting solo hits, and his songs have been recorded by Emmylou Harris, Alan Jackson and John Prine. Fiddler and songwriter Rayna Gellert is a former member of the Freight Hoppers and the all-female old-time band Uncle Earl, and has toured and recorded with Scott Miller, Abigail Washburn, Trubab Krewe and Robyn Hitchcock. After meeting at a music festival in San Francisco, Kane and Gellert began collaborating. Since then, they have released three albums, including The Flowers That Bloom in Spring, released in February.
