Bryan Simpson wrote "A Guy with a Girl" (Blake Shelton), "Better Than I Used to Be" (Tim McGraw), "Everything She Ain’t" (Hailey Whitters) and "Yeah" (Joe Nichols). He also co-founded the progressive bluegrass band Cadillac Sky and has released solo music under the name The Whistles & The Bells.
