Ricky Ray Rector wrote T. Graham Brown’s “Darlene,” Canyon’s “In the Middle of the Night,” Mel McDaniel’s “Stand Up” and songs recorded by Lacy J. Dalton, Eddy Raven and Tony Joe White.
