Cakes da Killa takes over PROOF Rooftop Bar on Saturday, June 15 at 10PM. A New Jersey -born trailblazer, Cakes has reigned over New York's independent music scene for over a decade. His unique blend of rap, house, jazz and dance has electrified stages worldwide, from Afropunk to Glastonbury. Despite the ever-changing music landscape, Cakes has earned critical acclaim and collaborated with artists like Honey Dijon and Injury Reserve. Rejecting conventional labels, he lets his talent speak for itself, leaving interpretation up to the audience.
