Join in for the opening reception of this curated exhibit of twelve artists. In a time of escalating political drift and division, silence is no longer a neutral act; it is a weapon. Xilencio / Silence confronts the dangerous comfort of inaction, and the complicity embedded in stillness and silence.
The artists and creatives in Xilencio / Silence aim to respond with refusal. Through painting, performance, film, installation, and archival disruption, “We” reject erasure and amplify the radical act of bearing witness. This is not simply an invitation to speak, it is a demand to listen. To confront our roles in systems of power, while standing up for those affected in communities where we Work, Live, and Create.
