Details
Four Nashville painters chart courses through hidden utopias and unseen realms this fall. Benji Anderson, Shahnaz Lighari, Devon Eloise, and Joe Nolan present contemporary abstract landscapes that blur the boundaries between the real and the imagined.
The exhibition features 21st-century interpretations of landscape painting, from Devon Eloise's celestial mountaintops and stylized lunar visions to Shahnaz Lighari's organic, elemental compositions where whole countrysides dissolve into formalist abstraction. Benji Anderson contributes map-like mandalas and colorful portals, while Nolan's own nature-inspire works blend traditional and digital techniques.
