The museum will feature dobro virtuoso Jerry Douglas in its in-depth interview series, Nashville Cats, which spotlights renowned musicians and session singers who have supported artists in the studio or on tour. Douglas forever altered perceptions of the dobro with distinctive, lyrical playing that expanded its presence in bluegrass and country music and beyond. Raised in Ohio, inspired by Uncle Josh Graves, he joined the Country Gentlemen before finishing high school and later played with J.D. Crowe & the New South and the Whites. He has worked with Country Music Hall of Fame members Emmylou Harris, Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart, Randy Travis and Hank Williams Jr. Douglas has earned 16 Grammys and induction into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame.
