Please join the National Museum of African American Music as we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Nashville's legacy through Heart and Drumbeats: Syncopation in the Civil Rights Movement and Beyond. The day will include live performances from Pearl Cohn High School, Larysa Jaye, and Briana Boseman. Our 615 Stories will feature a panel discussion with local changemakers, Maryam Abolfazli, Dawn Harrington, Ruby Amanfu, and Lindsey Hamilton. We will screen "Exit 207" and "A Child Shall Lead Them" and unveil the new lobby case exhibit featuring Nashville's own Mr. Lorenzo Washington of Jefferson Street Sound Museum.
