This year's Metro tree lighting celebration will take place on Friday, December 6nd at 6:00 p.m. CST. The event is open to the public and will feature the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony, with special performances by Lakeview Elementary School Music Program, Head Magnet Middle School Choir, and Olive Branch Church Choir.

Bring new, unwrapped toys, bikes and other age-appropriate gifts in the $10-$25 range for Last Minute Toy Store's Toy Drive.
