About Laundry Project
The Laundry Project is a program of Current Initiatives, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, that assists low-income families in underserved communities fulfill a basic need - washing clothes and linens. All the fees and laundry supplies are provided so they can save their own resources for other things like bills, buying gas to get to/from work, or even food for their families. Volunteers (we called them Hope Dealers) assist with laundry services, entertain children, and create a caring space at the laundromat.
