Love and Theft, formed in Nashville in 2006, is a country duo known for the striking harmonies of Eric Gunderson and Stephen Barker Liles. Early hits like “Runaway” (2009) and “Angel Eyes” (2011) established their presence, blending pop-country with a relaxed, melodic style. Originally a trio, they became a duo in 2011 after Brian Bandas’s departure.
After label changes and launching their own imprint, they released Whiskey on My Breath in 2015 and signed with Curb Records. Their fourth album, Need to Breathe, arrived in 2023, showcasing a mature, adult alternative flair without losing their country roots.
