Poet Ciona Rouse, owner of Bard’s Towne Books & Bourbon, has curated a special selection of books—poetry, nonfiction, and fiction. You’re invited to join other literary-loving people in Café Cheeserie to discuss how the language of these works expands our connections with Campos-Pons’s incredible exhibition. Read just one or all three! Or don’t read at all, but come for fellowship and to learn from our community of readers and to enjoy music from the J Trio featuring Jeff Coffin on sax and flute, Jordan Perlson on drums, and Jon Estes on bass.
At this Literary Salon, Suddenly, We by Evie Shockley, Ordinary Notes by Christina Sharpe, and Breath, Eyes, Memory by Edwidge Danticat will be dicussed.
