LISTEN SHOWCASE will feature the first in-person live performances of several new commissions of Intersection’s NEA funded LISTEN project.
About this event
Intersection’s LISTEN project has commissioned solo works by female-identifying, non-binary, or gender non-conforming composers. Our LISTEN SHOWCASE will feature the first in-person live performances of several of these new commissions. Hear from composers, such as Julia Adolphe, and musicians playing works for snare drum, French horn, oboe and more, while drinking a signature cocktail in the beautiful galleries of 21C Museum Hotel. LISTEN is made possible with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
