Mike Flanagan (MikeMRF) and Lisa Bello have been a dynamic duo for more than a decade, leaving their mark of unforgettable, collaborative energy on every stage they touch. Band mates, best friends, and former NYC roommates, as songwriting partners they have won a Lennon Award in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and 2 OUTmusic Awards including the highly coveted Humanitarian Songwriter of the Year award for LGBTQ-youth anthem, "Be Strong".
As recording artists, they have charted on Billboard three times, topped the iTunes Jazz Albums Chart, and placed at #7 on the iTunes R&B Albums Chart. They have held weekly live music residencies in Boston, Manhattan, and Provincetown, MA. Their new live album and tour, Wait Just Listen, is hitting the Loft at City Winery Nashville on May 1.
