Kevin Whalum is poised to release a new album of one of his favorite live performances recorded in 2017. The performance includes some of Kevin’s favorite songs along with only two other musicians: Josh Lutz on acoustic & electric guitars, and Jay White on electric bass. Kevin himself plays cajon during the show, which is a Latin percussion instrument. The album includes originals and cover songs. Kevin explains that one doesn't need a lot of instrumentation to pay honor to a well-written song. It is a sweet and charming collection of tunes that, in its pared-down way, can only be described as, “Organic Music.”
