Pianist Jody Nardone (piano and vocals) cites Peanuts composer Vince Guaraldi as one of his earliest musical influences and favorite jazz artists. Jody and his trio (featuring Brian Allen on bass and Chris Brown on drums) re-create and re-imagine all your favorites from the classic animated 1965 TV special. A true labor of love, Jody and the trio have done their homework and have been performing this material each Christmas for many years. Nardone’s love and knowledge of Guaraldi's life and work is on full display, not just in the performance of classic tunes such as "Christmas Time Is Here" and "Linus And Lucy” but also with his interesting stories and anecdotes of Guaraldi’s involvement with the special, sprinkled throughout the entire program.
