Three mysterious witches tell the Scottish general, Macbeth, that he will soon be King of Scotland. Encouraged by his wife, Macbeth kills the current king, becomes the new king, and kills more people out of paranoia and ambition. Civil war erupts to overthrow Macbeth, resulting in more death and confusion. Given the Inebriated Shakespeare treatment, this show is hilarious, inappropriate and over the top!
Performing in venues, bars and clubs around Music City, KB Production’s Inebriated Shakespeare incorporates an abbreviated version of a William Shakespeare play with some adult beverages thrown in. The audience can purchase shots, which are a $5 donation (per shot) to the non-profit theatre company, and it helps the actors become inebriated. Attendees are encouraged to bring cash for shots
