This Holiday season, Fifth + Broadway is partnering with the Metro Nashville Police Department to benefit their annual Christmas Basket Charities.
Established in 1961, The annual MNPD Christmas Charities fundraiser selects local families in the Davidson County community that are in need during the holiday season. Based on recommendations from police officers and the family’s specific needs, each selected family receives a custom combination of 4-bushel baskets of groceries and children’s toys. On Christmas Eve morning metro police, their families, and local volunteers gather to hand deliver each and every basket. Last year, over 550 families were served, and this year we aim to raise enough to serve even more!
You can donate by visiting our ‘5+B North Pole’ Suite located on Level 2 of Fifth + Broadway. We will be offering an assortment of holiday-themed and MNPD-branded ornaments available for purchase, with all proceeds benefitting MNPD’s Christmas Charities. Donation boxes will be setup throughout the holiday season for tangible donations.
Monetary donations can be made directly via PayPal and Venmo (@christmasbaskets).
The 5+B North Pole Donation Station will be open Fridays from 2:00pm-6:00pm and Saturdays from 11:00am-4:00pm between November 19th to December 18th.
