As one of the oldest poster and design shops in America, Hatch Show Print is still printing show posters for musicians, bands and performers, one at a time, via letterpress printing. During the Block Party, participants can revel in the creative atmosphere of Hatch Show Print as they work with ink and the shop’s image blocks to create a design that can be hand-printed onto paper, cloth bags, tea towels or a t-shirt. The instructor will cover the basics of laying out images, with consideration given to creating layers and using color.
Price: $75 per adult (limit 12 adults per block party)
