Join The Frist Art Museum for a gallery talk by Dr. Grace L. Sanders Johnson, associate professor of Africana studies at the University of Pennsylvania, exploring the exhibition María Magdalena Campos-Pons: Behold. Sanders Johnson’s talk will dive deeper into the artwork on view and talk largely about themes of sacred art and critical theory, Caribbean migration, pedagogy and performance, multimodality and motherhood, and water.
