Details
The Palomino Club was once country music’s most important venue on the West Coast. Located in the North Hollywood neighborhood in Los Angeles, its modest stage hosted numerous country music icons in the 1950s and ’60s. In later years, the club was an incubator for the Los Angeles “cowpunk” scene and future stars. Following a screening of the new documentary "The Palomino," — which chronicles the story of the club from its earliest days until its closure in 1995 — Rosie Flores, James Intveld and country music historian Scott B. Bomar will join the filmmakers for a conversation about the club’s significance and legacy, and the making of the new film.
