Join a professional songwriter to write a song as a group in this introductory workshop. Bilingual singer-songwriter and recording artist Marta Albarracin—a Guatemala City native whose song “Mi Regalo” earned 6.7 million views on TikTok in three days—will teach the fundamentals of self-expression through songwriting and basic song structure, including form, theme, and rhyme scheme. Participants will then share ideas and write an original song of their own with lyrics in English and Spanish. Recommended for ages 7 and up, but all are welcome. Taylor Swift Education Center. Limited seating. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.
