Sing, dance, and play as a family at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum the first Saturday of each month. Designed for families with children 5 years old and younger, the Family Jam Session is a participatory music-making experience led by Museum educators and a special guest artist. The program introduces young children to country music instruments and encourages child development through moving, singing, and listening. This session will feature the ukulele and Kayley Nell Walker, a singer-songwriter and music educator who has performed original music on NBC’s Today show, at the Bluebird Café, and on Tootie’s Birthday Bash stage. Family music-making promotes language acquisition and the development of cognitive, social, and motor skills–and it’s fun! Come learn and play!
