Associate Curator Michael Ewing; Dr. Gabriel Torres Colón, assistant professor of anthropology at Vanderbilt University; and artist-musician Marcos A. Peñaloza Pica will explore the rich cultural connections and unique distinctions between masquerade traditions in West Africa and the Caribbean.
