The Engine for Art, Democracy and Justice (EADJ), program is a trans-institutional partnership founded by Dr. Maria Magdalena Campos Pons. The partnership includes Vanderbilt University, Fisk University, the Frist Art Museum and Millions of Conversations. The Fall 2022 program, Artistic Activism and the Power of

Collective Resistance, will be curated by Oslo, Norway-based Selene Wendt.
Four fall episodes comprised of 16 academic panel discussions artists and scholars from 25 countries, will be held online and available free of charge to all. In addition to the online panel discussions which will be moderated by Selene Wendt, more than 30 socially engaged artist projects including installations, performances, film screenings, poetry readings and other collaborative projects, will be created and presented in cultural venues, historical sites and public spaces throughout Nashville.

Each virtual gathering is free and open to the public. Advance registration is required.
