After years of struggling with addiction, the then 62-year-old homeless Nashville street musician Doug Seegers’ life changed overnight when he had the courage to ask for help. This act of being humble opened the door to a local food pantry and homeless shelter pointing a Swedish film crew his way. This film crew then released his heart-wrenching song “Going Down To The River” which shot to number one on Swedish iTunes and reserved Doug a seat on his first-ever airplane ride to perform in front of sold-out crowds in Europe.
Sarah Jane Nelson got her start after winning America’s Miss T.E.E.N. At 17 she was Broadway-bound and spent the next 10 years as an actor/singer. Nelson will be releasing her 6th full length album, Shelby Park on April 28th.
