Join Alive, Middle TN's only nonprofit hospice, for refreshments on Thursday, September 15 as we launch our newest education program, Culture and Mourning, and learn about Jewish traditions.

This series explores how different cultures and faiths support the universal experiences of death and mourning. In a world that would rather gloss over grief, we need to make time and space for healing. We're very excited about the conversations and connections this series will spark in our community as we learn from one another!

Have you ever wondered why stones are placed on Jewish graves? Or why a body is guarded from the time of death until burial?

Find out at our series kick off where we'll learn about Jewish traditions from The Temple, Congregation Ohabai Sholom.
