Jon Langford is a founding member of the punk band the Mekons, the post-punk group the Three Johns and the alternative-country ensembles the Waco Brothers and Pine Valley Cosmonauts. Langford, known for his striking portraits of country music icons, created the primary artwork for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s 2015-2018 exhibition, Dylan, Cash, and the Nashville Cats: A New Music City, of which an online version is available here. This commission led to a collaboration between Langford and Hatch Show Print master printer Jim Sherraden. During the program, Langford performs and discusses his music and art careers with the museum’s vice president of creative, Warren Denny.
