Karen Elson was a model and muse to the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen, starring in some of his most iconic fashion shows, including a gorgeously choreographed turn in his S/S 2004 collection inspired by the film They Shoot Horses, Don’t They? as seen in Ann Ray’s photograph Deliverance I on view in Lee Alexander McQueen and Ann Ray: Rendez-Vous. But more importantly, the Nashville-based supermodel was also McQueen’s friend and close collaborator.

For this in-person event, former fashion editor Libby Callaway leads a conversation with Elson about her long history with McQueen, the magic of his iconic fashion shows, and the symbiotic creative relationship that exists between models and designers.
