Shelby Lynne is a Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, musician, and producer. Widely revered for her unique artistry, she walks a resolutely independent path upon which she refines her singular brand of Southern soul music. Lynne’s body of work is deep and wide—she was only nineteen when she signed her first record deal. Her I Am Shelby Lynne album helped earn her a Best New Artist Grammy in 2001, and her latest album, Consequences of the Crown, is slated for release on August 16. The Museum’s Allison Moorer, Lynne’s sister, will lead this conversation celebrating Lynne’s Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement Award. Presented in partnership with the Americana Music Association.

Price: Program ticket required. Included with Museum admission.
