The Museum travels to the Nashville Public Library’s Green Hills Branch to share stories and music and to create art in this bilingual program, led by musician and educator Rachel Rodriguez. Little listeners will enjoy a reading of Dolly Parton’s children’s book I Am a Rainbow, hear songs about colors in English and Spanish, and make a colorful craft inspired by the artists, objects, and sounds featured in the Museum’s galleries. Rodriguez is a multilingual artist who performs and teaches throughout the Nashville area. Recommended for ages 2 to 6 with accompanying adults, but all are welcome. Presented in support of the Nashville Public Library’s Summer Reading Challenge.
