The purpose of Coffee with a Cop is to build trust and improve communication between law enforcement and the community by providing a relaxed, informal setting for casual conversations. It allows community members to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know officers personally, while giving officers a chance to understand the community's needs better and foster mutual goals. By removing the typical barriers of emergency situations and formal settings, these events aim to break down barriers and build stronger, safer communities.
Costumes are encouraged, but optional.
