Join “The Yogi Bassist” Jo-Jo Jackson for thirty minutes of guided mindfulness meditation at the newly revitalized Church Street Park. No experience is necessary as this practice is suitable for all. Each session will start with gentle accessible movement and calming breathwork to prepare the body & mind to receive the full benefits of seated meditation.

Dress comfortably for gentle movement and deep relaxation. Bring a yoga mat, blanket or meditation cushion for sitting, or use a park chair.

Mindfulness Meditation is a practice of personal observation and inner awareness to bring about a sense of peaceful calm. Through meditating, we can learn to calm the mind, relax the body, and restore an overall sense of well-being.
