Andy Griggs, born in Monroe, LA, grew up on a wide mix of influences—Jerry Lee Lewis, Waylon Jennings, Bill Monroe, blues, rock, and jazz—which shaped his soulful, undefinable sound. After personal tragedies, including the loss of his father and brother, Andy turned fully to music, moving to Nashville in 1995. He broke out with RCA, earning two No. 1 singles, five Top 5s, and multiple Top 10 hits including “You Won’t Ever Be Lonely.” Restless to dig deeper, Andy began writing and producing his own songs, determined to make music straight from the heart. Today, he continues to share the raw, authentic sound of the “real Andy Griggs.”
