Join Ann Cobb, member of the Nashville Calligraphers Guild and member and past president of IAMPETH (the International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting), for this studio workshop inspired by the exhibition Art and Imagination in Spanish America, 1500–1800: Highlights from LACMA’s Collection. Participants will learn basic techniques for gilding on wood and paper. Each participant will receive a gilding kit to use during the workshop and to take home afterward.
Ages 18+ only; space is limited; all skill levels are welcome
Price: $60 members; $75 non-members (all supplies, gallery admission, and parking validation included)
