Trumpeter and arranger Nigel Cathéy's quintet mixes swing, hard bop and modern jazz to bring you a melting pot of sounds inspired by the musicians of the past. You will hear tunes from giants like Oscar Pettiford, Lee Morgan, Freddie Hubbard and Cedar Walton to the sweet melodies of modern artists Braxton Cook and Curtis Lundy. This vibrant quintet is dedicated to swingin' hard, comprised of Nigel Cathéy on trumpet, Gus Arnold on sax, Josh Karas on piano, Patrick Atwater on bass and Marc Widenhofer on drums.
